Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy
Therapy for autism at A Bridge to Achievement (ABtA) is based on the scientific principles and procedures of neuro-affirming, assent-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). All treatment plans are highly individualized with input from our on-staff clinicians, your family, and the learners themselves. Support starts here.
Sessions & Programs
At A Bridge to Achievement, we offer comprehensive and focused therapeutic interventions for autistic learners via four avenues:
We offer ABA autism therapy at all ABtA learning centers. Learners engage in treatment one-on-one with a clinician either individually or in a group setting with other learners who have similar skill sets and therapeutic goals.
The Building Bridges program at A Bridge to Achievement serves as a fun alternative to traditional weekday preschool and Kindergarten-readiness programs. Early learners receive 30 hours of one-on-one and small-group interventions led by Registered Behavior Technicians. Building Bridges is available at all ABtA locations.
BRIDGES (Building Relationships, Independence, Determination, Group & Essential Skills) is a hands-on program specifically designed for preteens, teenagers, and young adults. Learners gain meaningful life skills, increase autonomy, and build confidence – it’s the perfect homeschool complement! This program is offered at our University and Winston-Salem centers.
Our Social Skills Groups provide structured opportunities for kids and teenagers to nurture essential social competencies. Groups of four or more learners of similar age and development and with shared interests engage in 10 hours of afternoon ABA therapy weekly. Social Skills sessions are available at all ABtA locations.
