Caregiver collaboration and guidance is an essential part of our services. While our learners can become very successful with our staff, a goal of ABA is to transfer these skills to caregivers to ensure continued success.
At ABtA, we pride ourselves on providing family-centered programming. This includes:
- Seeking family input and approval on programming decisions
- Making program changes based on what is needed for the learner and the family
- Delivering regular feedback on your learner’s skills development through progress reports and team meetings.
- ABA support trainings, where caregivers learn how to generalize the learner’s goals, decrease challenging behaviors, improve communication skills for the learner, and teach life skills to the learner.
- Each training is individualized to focus on the specific skills that are important for each situation.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to all individuals involved with the learner’s progress: parents, grandparents, siblings, teachers, other services providers, etc.
